SAP Resource Manager - German Speaking. Frankfurt, Heidelberg, Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Stuttgart. Permanent Job. Flexible Start Date: February, March, April 2017. Salary: €100,000 fixed basic + 20% Bonus + Car + Benefits. OTE: €120,000. Our client is currently searching for an SAP Resource Manager who lives somewhere in the region of Frankfurt, Heidelberg, Karlsruhe, Mannheim, Stuttgart. This role would be similar to an SAP Team Manager type of position and is a great opportunity for someone to join a rapidly growing SAP team which spans the EMEA region. Main Duties and Responsibilities: • Optimize utilization across the functional consultants team by making staffing decisions in support of the deployment strategy. • Resolve staffing conflicts to the satisfaction of all parties, which may include identifying creative staffing alternatives and negotiating with project management and consultants. • Collaborate effectively with the PMO team to ensure that schedule and resource request data is current, complete, and accurate at all times. • Maintain knowledge of the project pipeline in order to advise on future supply and demand, as well as on expected future demand in recruiting. • Act as direct manager for all functional consultants in EMEA, including being responsible for annual performance reviews, disciplinary actions, time off planning and approval. • Actively maintain one on-one relationships with assigned consultants in order to develop detailed understanding of their goals and preferences, as well as to provide deployment related career coaching. • Build up and maintain a consultant skill profiles database. Maintain detailed knowledge of the profiles and make sure the technical skills and soft skills in the project team match current and future project needs. • Plan and initiate education activities (internal and external) according to business needs and personal preferences of the people. Ensure consultants are best prepared for their projects. • Act as hiring manager for functional consultants in all EMEA countries. This includes screening of profiles, interviewing candidates and making hiring decision in alignment with Human Resources. • Collaborate with recruiting team and PMO to provide a smooth onboarding and first deployment experience to our new hires. Required Skills and Qualifications: • 6+ years in a similar role, like SAP Project Manager or SAP Delivery Manager or SAP Team Manager etc. • Experience as a people manager with direct reports • Experience in multiple full lifecycle software implementations (preferably in SAP SD/MM projects) • Understanding of key resource management metrics and how these metrics impact practice financial performance • Experience in working with nearshore/offshore delivery and with partners • Independent thinking with keen problem solving skills • Ability to adapt to changing schedules and multiple work plans • Strong conflict resolution skills, including the abilities to negotiate and influence others • Strong moderator capabilities, ability to manage and resolve complex and sensitive situations • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills • Experience working with Big 4 or other large consulting firms a plus • Willingness to travel up to 20% Languages: • Must be fluent in both German and English languages (both written and spoken) • Any additional European languages such as Dutch, French, Italian, Polish, Spanish, Other is extremely advantageous but not essential.
